Welcome to the first edition.
A lot of blogs these days are political, great ones at that. Very few of them express simplified views on it. Most tend to report the latest events, expressed from their own parties viewpoint. Which is great, for whatever party or organization they subscribe to. Here I hope to be as impartial as I can, yet address issues either past or present, that I feel need attention. These will come in no particular order, and will cover as wide a range as possible. One day will be on a certain bill I may disagree with, and the next on the practices of our government in 1963. Reasons for this are; enough blogs about the news out there already, and this will be a way for me to express thoughts and feelings as they come to me. In the least, the wide range of subjects here may make for good entertainment.
For this first post, I would like to thank the US Government for the endless amount of subject matter. Every day a new scandal or controversy. I mean if there’s not a new terror threat, then another official is caught making advances to an aid. We really do run the gamut in this country. So A big thank you must go to them. A person really couldn’t make this stuff up.
Here are a few of those that make this blog easy.
- The electoral college- For always making sure we don’t elect Mikey Mouse, or Arnold Schwarzenegger…Err never mind that last bit.
- Social security- For paying for scooter chairs that middle-age lazy people can ride in, And paying for people to remain drunk instead contributing to society.
- The IRS- For changing tax laws every year and improving nothing. Truly amazing, the only thing I’ve ever seen do that. You think they would have fixed something on accident by now.
- The Immigration office- For making the citizenship test so tough, yet keeping it optional if they want to stay here.
- The FCC- For allowing corporations to control the airwaves. Nothing I like better than hearing what I lie to call ‘condom news’. Thats safe, filtered and ribbed for pleasure.
- The two party system- So I have A choice in what lobbyists or special interest groups, scare me the least.
- The Department of Energy- For allowing price gouging and prices based on projected cost. Great to know that when they expect a hard winter, then they can raise prices to compensate.
- All those involved in taxing gasoline- Not sure who to thank specifically, but in my state taxes make up 60% of the cost per gallon.
- The Executive branch- For talking hours on end without saying A thing. And letting me know who the bad guys are.
- The Supreme Court- For keeping my flag safe from fire, and my rights in question.
- The Intelligence community- For keeping me safe from things that are bad for me to know about. Even when I don’t know its bad for me.
- The Press Secretary- For letting the press now what they can expect the president to say, and how they should report it.
Well I think that will do for now. I may add to this list at another time. If you feel I missed an important group or branch post it with your reasons.

how about the federal government in general for making theirself so big that even when 90 percent of the american people are either for or against an issue they can do the opposite because they coveniently forget that they work for us without fear of repercussion they seem to think that the power in this country originates with them when in acttuality it is WE THE PEOPLES power and we just loan it to them more americans need to remember that i mean come on people read the constitution
